Arriving by Air:
Irving is less than 4 hours from any major metropolitan area in the continental United States. DFW Airport is adjacent to Irving and is the primary international airport serving the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Dallas Love Field is the area's other major airport (12 miles from Irving).
Arriving by Ground:
You can get to Irving from any direction. The city is bordered by four highways: I-35 (north), Loop 12 (east),
I-30 (south), and SH-360 (west). State Highway 161 (also known as the President George Bush Turnpike) runs from far west Irving to far north Irving.
